Unissued USGI "Bear Suit" Pants

Precursor to the modern ECWS system, the USGI "Bear Suit" was a set comprised of a pair of synthetic pile pants and a jacket. Maligned as bulky by some, these pants are a blunt answer to brutally cold conditions. 

Designed to be worn below more water-resistant layers, these feature two full-length zippers down the sides, a fly, and a set of suspenders.
